According to Iranian state television, the Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a written statement regarding Israel's attacks on Lebanon.
The statement noted that the opposition of international institutions, countries, and the peoples of the world has had no effect on the leaders in Tel Aviv, and that U.S. interventions have resulted in nothing but an increase in the crimes and genocide committed by Israel.
The statement, which conveyed that despite the support of the U.S. and European countries, Israel has failed to win the hearts of the regional people and is ruling over devastated lands, emphasized that Israel destroys the homes of Palestinians and Lebanese every day.
The statement included the following: "The Lebanese people will not allow the usurping regime to achieve through a contract imposed by the child-killing American regime what it could not achieve in war."
The statement, which conveyed that Iran's acceptance of the ceasefire is conditional upon a ceasefire being established on all fronts, including Lebanon, included the following: "The enemy must immediately stop its attacks on the Lebanese people, vacate the occupied Lebanese territories, withdraw to international borders, and recognize Lebanon's territorial integrity."
The Revolutionary Guard Corps emphasized that peace cannot be achieved in the region without Israel withdrawing from the occupied Lebanese territories.
