The statement, which drew attention to the fact that the US lost 7 trillion dollars and thousands of soldiers in the wars it waged against Iraq and Afghanistan, included the following: "Iran is ready for dialogue based on mutual respect and interests, but if forced, it will defend itself and respond like never before."

Trump escalated tensions by making a new statement on Iran. Stating that the US Navy is heading toward Iran, Trump said, "It is ready to carry out its duty with speed and violence if necessary, as in the case of Venezuela."

Abbas Araghchi made a statement on his social media account regarding a possible US attack.

Araghchi announced that the lessons learned from the 12-Day War have enabled Iran to respond faster, more strongly, and more comprehensively.

The Iranian Foreign Minister reiterated that they would not produce nuclear weapons, while expressing that they are ready for an agreement on an equal footing.
