Iran: Passage of military vessels remains prohibited
In a statement regarding the temporary reopening of the Strait of Hormuz to vessel traffic, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy Command stated, "The passage of military vessels through the strait remains prohibited. All transits are carried out solely with the permission of the IRGC Navy. These transits are being conducted as part of the process aimed at halting conflicts on the ground and following the ceasefire in Lebanon."

Iran has announced new rules regarding passage through the Strait of Hormuz following its temporary reopening to vessel traffic.
In a statement issued by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy Command, it was noted that a new order has come into effect in the strait, stating, "Civilian vessels are only passing through routes designated by Iran.
The passage of military vessels through the strait, however, remains prohibited. All transits are carried out solely with the permission of the IRGC Navy. These transits are being conducted as part of the process aimed at halting conflicts on the ground and following the ceasefire in Lebanon."
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced on his social media account today that, in line with the ceasefire reached in Lebanon, all commercial vessels are fully permitted to pass through the Strait of Hormuz via the coordinated route previously announced by Iran for the remainder of the ceasefire period.
