Iran's Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghadam has accused US President Donald Trump of dismantling the US-Iran memorandum of understanding with his arbitrary statements.
In a statement on his social media account, while evaluating Trump's stance on the negotiation process, Moghadam said that although the US President claims to aim for peace, he has already undermined two major diplomatic steps regarding Iran.
Moghadam stated, "Although Trump has already dismantled two significant achievements in the history of contemporary diplomacy, he continues to talk about peace.
He broke the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) agreement just 473 days after taking office in 2018. Now, with his arbitrary statements and malicious approach, he has also dismantled the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding before even 20 days had passed since its signing."
