Iran's Strait of Hormuz declaration: 'There will be no movement without our permission'

Habibollah Sayyari, Deputy Coordinator of the Iranian Army, stated in his remarks regarding the Strait of Hormuz that no movement can take place in the region without Iran's permission.

According to Iranian state television, Sayyari claimed that the Iranian Navy has "full control" over the eastern part of the Strait of Hormuz, the Sea of Oman, and the northern Indian Ocean.

In his statement, Sayyari used the phrase, "There will be no movement in the Strait of Hormuz without Iran's permission."

This statement regarding the Strait of Hormuz, which is considered one of the most critical routes for global maritime transport and energy markets, comes at a time when debates over maritime security in the region are ongoing.
