Iran: We will give a harsh and devastating response

Mohammad Mohammadi Golpayegani, Chief of Staff to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, spoke about Israel's retaliatory attack on Iranian military bases during a memorial ceremony held in Tehran for high-ranking Hezbollah official Hashem Safieddine.

Golpayegani stated, "The recent attack by the Zionist Israeli regime on some parts of our country was a desperate act, and we will give a harsh and devastating response to this attack by the Zionist regime.

The performance of our air defense systems in preventing the regime's warplanes from entering Iranian airspace was quite strong, and the damage caused in this attack was very minimal," he said.

"ISRAEL IS ON THE VERGE OF COLLAPSE"

Meanwhile, Major General Hossein Salami, Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, said, "Israel is on the verge of collapse.

Recently, it has been acting blindly and committing all kinds of crimes without recognizing any rules. We remind them that they should look not at the distant past, but at recent history.

Look at the history of the last 45 years and see how Iran has treated its enemies. You are on the path to collapse, you have lost all your assets, and your failure was not learning lessons from history," he said.

Salami added, "Israel thinks they can change history by firing a few missiles. But you must not forget True Promise 2. You attacked, but know that we will give you a response that cannot even be imagined," he said.
