Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi's scheduled speech on 'International Nuclear Policy' at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, based in New Jersey, has been canceled.

It was notable that the program was announced as canceled following a campaign launched by groups affiliated with the Israel lobby to have the conference called off after news emerged that Araghchi would be giving a lecture.

Both the Iranian side and the Carnegie Endowment accused each other of changing the pre-planned program. Araghchi shared the text of the speech he was set to deliver on his social media account.

In the speech text, Minister Araghchi, who specifically highlighted economic relations with the US in the event of a possible agreement, said, "Iran has never blocked economic and scientific cooperation with the US. The real obstacle has been previous US administrations, which often acted under the influence of certain influential circles. As I also explained in the pages of the Washington Post newspaper in recent days, American companies can benefit from Iran's trillion-dollar opportunity."
