Making a statement on his social media account, Araghchi emphasized that fuel depots were targeted and stated, "Israel's bombing of fuel depots in Tehran violates international law and causes ecological destruction."

Warning that this situation could have effects on human health and the environment that will last for generations, Araghchi said, "Israel must be punished for war crimes."
