Iranian Foreign Ministry summons German Ambassador to Tehran

The Iranian Foreign Ministry took action following German Chancellor Friedrich Merz's statement yesterday, in which he said, "The days of a regime that can only hold onto power by inflicting violence on its (Iranian) people are numbered."

The Foreign Ministry summoned Germany's Ambassador to Tehran, Axel Ditmann, to the ministry.

The Foreign Ministry stated, "Iran's strong protest regarding the interventionist and irresponsible attitudes of German officials was conveyed to the country's ambassador."
