Speaking to the Qatari press, an Iranian military official warned that if US attacks on Iran continue, tensions in the region could escalate further, stating, "The regional war will soon enter a new phase."
The Iranian official said, "As we have said from the very beginning, if the US makes such a strategic mistake, the situation will become much more complex. Soon, another important strait will experience the same as the Strait of Hormuz."
Emphasizing that Iran has not yet used all of its options, the official added, "Iran's security and defense plans are phased and gradual, and we still have many cards to play."
