Iranian Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf: Trump administration is making wrong decisions

Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani continues his contacts in Tehran. Al Thani met with Iranian Parliament Speaker and Chief Negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf. During the meeting between the two, Ghalibaf told Al Thani that the Trump administration is "making wrong decisions based on misinformation, wasting US resources, and destabilizing the region." The Iranian Parliament Speaker stated that the US "economic blockade will fail," adding that "Washington must fulfill its commitments under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)."

Al Thani met with Pezeshkian

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani also held a separate meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. According to the ministry, the meeting addressed the situation in the region and its repercussions on security and stability, as well as efforts to de-escalate tensions and create conditions conducive to dialogue.

Al Thani met with Mohsen Rezaee

Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani also met with Mohsen Rezaee, Secretary of the Expediency Discernment Council of Iran. According to the statement issued by the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting discussed the situation in the region and regional and international efforts to strengthen regional security and stability.

The statement noted that Qatari Prime Minister Al Thani emphasized the importance of prioritizing common sense and responsibility to maintain regional security and stability in dealing with the current crisis.
