Iranian President Pezeshkian: Karabakh is an inseparable part of Azerbaijan

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian held a meeting between delegations with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during his official visit to Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.

Reminding that Azerbaijani and Iranian government officials have been in close contact with each other in recent months, Aliyev said, "Many problems have been solved. Many issues were also discussed in preparation for your visit.

Important documents will be signed today, and the decisions to be made will bring the two brotherly peoples even closer together."

Stating that they recognize Azerbaijan's rights in Karabakh and over the other regions it possesses, Pezeshkian said, "We believe that Karabakh is an inseparable part of Azerbaijan, and we approach this with respect.

Of course, our presence here will contribute to the strengthening of our relations and our unity," he said.
