Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has arrived in Doha, the capital of Qatar, to attend the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Summit.

Holding a joint press conference in Doha with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Pezeshkian thanked Qatar and said, "We want to improve relations with the Qatari government.

I hope that we can develop cooperation between the two countries in areas such as transportation, health, culture, and the economy, and strengthen our ties by making joint investments," he said.

"WE WERE FORCED TO RESPOND"

Stating that they are not seeking war but that Israel is dragging Iran into one, Pezeshkian said, "Israel assassinated our guest at the inauguration ceremony. They told us, 'Be patient, we want to establish peace,' and we waited for peace. However, instead of putting an end to the bloodshed, these dishonorable people became even more emboldened and committed many crimes in both Gaza and Lebanon that are unprecedented in history. For this reason, we were forced to respond."

"IT WILL BE HARSHER"

Pezeshkian stated, "If the Zionist regime attempts to retaliate, our response will be harsher. As the Islamic Republic, we are determined to provide a definitive response. The Zionist regime aims to create crisis and insecurity in the region. However, we must prevent this situation. Europe and the US should tell the person they support in the region to stop the massacre and not make the region insecure. Because this situation is not in anyone's interest," he said.
