The exchange of messages between Iran and the US continues with Pakistan acting as a mediator.

The Iran-based semi-official Tasnim News Agency, citing a source close to the Iranian negotiating team, reported that after Iran sent its 14-point proposal 3 days ago, the US conveyed a new proposal to Iran through Pakistani mediators.

The report stated that Iran is currently reviewing the latest proposal and has not yet provided a response, noting that the Pakistani mediator is in Tehran to resolve differences between the proposals and emphasizing that no issues have been finalized yet.

Pakistan's Interior Minister in Tehran

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei had made statements regarding the ongoing exchange of messages with the US, noting that the purpose of Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi's visit to Iran was to facilitate the exchange of messages with the US and to provide additional clarifications to clarify the texts sent between the parties.

Baghaei had stated that despite having "strong and reasonable doubts" about the US side, Iran continues to engage in negotiations with "seriousness and good faith."
