Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei made a statement regarding the negotiation process with the US. In his remarks to the press, Baghaei stated that under current conditions, the Tehran administration has no plans to hold talks with the US and is focusing solely on the country's defense.

Emphasizing that if the US fulfills its international obligations, Iran will act accordingly, Baghaei said, "Our commitments remain valid only as long as the other party also fulfills its obligations."

Stating that Iran stopped implementing its commitments after the US failed to fulfill its obligations under the memorandum of understanding, Baghaei said, "After the other party violated its obligations, we also refrained from implementing our commitments in the areas we were required to fulfill."
