Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei met with commanders of the Armed Forces and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the capital, Tehran.
During the meeting, Khamenei thanked the Armed Forces and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps for their successes in the recent tension with Israel and the operation carried out against Israel.
Khamenei, in his assessment of Iran's attack on Israel, stated, "What matters is not how many missiles were fired or how many hit their targets. What matters is that the armed forces and the Iranian nation demonstrated the will to do this on the international stage."
Emphasizing that his country must continue to develop in the military field, Khamenei said, "We must not stop for a single moment in military development, because to pause means to go backward. Therefore, we must continue to advance in military technologies and continue efforts to recognize the enemy's techniques and methods."
Highlighting that different events bring both losses and gains, Khamenei remarked, "The important thing is to reduce losses and increase gains through the measures taken. The Armed Forces succeeded in this very well in the recent events."
