Iraqi Foreign Minister: Turkey to repatriate its citizens suspected of being ISIS members
Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein announced that an agreement has been reached with Turkey for the repatriation of Turkish citizens among the ISIS suspects transferred to Iraq from the Al-Hol camp and prisons in Syria, which have been closed.

Following the closure of the Al-Hol camp and prisons that have housed ISIS suspects for many years, Iraq has taken delivery of thousands of detainees from Syria as part of an operation coordinated with the US.
The Baghdad administration stated that it plans to try those held on suspicion of terrorism within its own legal system, while also calling on other countries to take back their citizens.
According to a report by the Cumhuriyet newspaper, Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein said during a meeting with the US Special Envoy for Syria, Tom Barrack, that Iraq is in contact with various countries regarding the repatriation of their citizens and that an agreement has been reached with Turkey.
In a separate statement to the UN Human Rights Council, Hussein called on countries to take back their citizens involved in terrorist acts and try them in their own countries.
