Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah died in an attack carried out by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on the Lebanese capital, Beirut, on Friday (September 27). The IDF reported that 20 Hezbollah commanders of various ranks were also killed in the attack.

In a statement yesterday, the IDF had also stated that Hezbollah's southern front commander, Ali Karaki, had died.

The IDF announced that Ibrahim Hussein Jazini, the head of Nasrallah's security unit, and Samir Tawfiq Dibbin, described as Nasrallah's long-time trusted advisor, were also killed.
