Israel announces it has besieged Gaza

Israel is increasing the intensity of its attacks on the Gaza Strip, which have been ongoing since October 7.
The Palestinian telecommunications company announced that all communication and internet services in the Gaza Strip, which is under Israeli blockade, have been cut off again. In a statement, PalTel said, "Communications have been cut off again by Israel on the main routes that were previously connected."
Netblocks, a global internet monitoring firm that collects data on digital rights, cybersecurity, and internet governance, also announced that communications and the internet have been cut off in the Gaza Strip.
MORE THAN 100 ATTACKS IN ONE HOUR
With the collapse of communication and internet services in the region, Israel carried out more than 100 airstrikes in less than an hour on various parts of Gaza City, including the area surrounding Al-Shifa Hospital.
The attacks targeted residential areas, roads, the city's port area, and various locations from the northwest to the southwest of Gaza, as well as Al-Shifa Hospital, the largest hospital in the Gaza Strip.
The bombardment took place simultaneously with Israel cutting off communication lines in the Gaza Strip, causing a total collapse of all communication and internet services in Gaza.
As smoke rose from various parts of the city due to the attacks, ambulances were unable to enter the bombed areas.
HOSPITAL SURROUNDINGS BOMBED
The Palestinian government in Gaza reported that the surroundings of all hospitals in the Gaza Strip are being subjected to intense Israeli bombardment.

Israeli Army Spokesperson Daniel Hagari stated that Israeli forces have completely besieged Gaza City and have divided the Gaza Strip in two. Hagari remarked, "Today there is a northern Gaza and a southern Gaza."
Hagari also stated that they would allow Palestinian civilians in northern Gaza to move to the south.
Responding to a question about the attacks on Gaza, Hagari noted that Israeli forces are currently conducting large-scale strikes in the region.
1.6 MILLION PEOPLE DISPLACED
Iyad al-Bozom, spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior in Gaza, stated that Israel is targeting shelters and hospitals to displace the residents of Gaza City.
Al-Bozom said, "More than 1 million 600 thousand Palestinians have been displaced as a result of Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip."
Noting that "the occupiers have intensified the use of internationally banned white phosphorus bombs in the last two days," Al-Bozom called on "people of conscience" to pressure Israel to stop the war in Gaza.
