In a press statement, Gallant spoke about developments in the Gaza Strip, where the Israeli army has been continuing its attacks since October 7.
WE ARE TRYING TO FIND A SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM
Pointing out the difficulty of entering these locations or destroying the tunnels safely without harming Israeli hostages who may be in Hamas's tunnels in Gaza, Gallant said, "The Israeli army has started using new methods to deal with the tunnels. They are trying to find a solution to this problem, and they are succeeding."
HE ALSO TOUCHED UPON HEZBOLLAH MEMBERS
Gallant argued that they would eliminate the Hamas members who carried out comprehensive attacks on Israel on October 7, noting that this "could take a month, a year, or even years." Pointing to the clashes with Hezbollah on the country's northern border with Lebanon, Gallant stated that Hezbollah, which is trying to harm Israel, is "taking blow after blow."
The Israeli Minister added that the Israeli Air Force is ready against any threat that may come from Lebanon.
