Israel confirms it struck an ambulance in Gaza
The Israeli military has confirmed that it struck an ambulance at Al-Shifa Hospital, which has become a shelter for those fleeing attacks in the Gaza Strip.

In a written statement, the Israeli Army Spokesperson's Office claimed that an "ambulance carrying Hamas terrorists preparing to attack soldiers on the ground" was targeted in the blockaded Gaza Strip.
CONFIRMED THE ATTACK
In response to a question from an AA reporter, the Israeli Army Spokesperson's Office admitted that an ambulance was targeted at Al-Shifa Hospital, the largest medical complex in the Gaza Strip, which has effectively turned into a shelter over the last month.
According to data released by the United Nations, approximately 500,000 people have taken refuge in UN centers in the Gaza Strip, one of the most densely populated regions in the world, which is currently under heavy bombardment by the Israeli military.
Tens of thousands of displaced Palestinians, including those wounded in the attacks on Gaza and their relatives, have taken shelter at Al-Shifa Hospital.
In the Israeli military's attack targeting ambulances at the entrance of Al-Shifa Hospital, 13 people were killed and 26 were injured.
The International Committee of the Red Cross had stated that the attacks on patients and ambulances near Al-Shifa Hospital were horrific and appalling, and that the images were unacceptable.
MINISTRY HAD CALLED FOR THE WOUNDED
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza had announced that even the Red Cross could not receive guarantees from Israel for the evacuation of the wounded from Al-Shifa Hospital to Egypt.
The Ministry of Health had reported that they would set off toward the Rafah Border Crossing in the south of Gaza at 16:00 local time to transport the wounded from Al-Shifa Hospital.
Appealing to all countries, peoples, and international organizations in the world, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza had called on everyone in the world to take responsibility to save the lives of the wounded in accordance with international humanitarian law, as required by the 4th Geneva Convention.
