Israel denies entry to Turkish team into Gaza: Hamas cited as the reason
Israel has announced that it will not permit an 81-person Turkish search and rescue team and their heavy equipment to enter Gaza.

An Israeli official stated in comments to the country's press that this decision was made "because Hamas has not returned the lifeless bodies of the hostages in its possession."
THE TEAM'S GOAL IS TO RECOVER BODIES FROM THE RUBBLE
The goal of the Turkish search and rescue team is to recover these bodies from under the rubble of buildings turned into ruins by Israel and to deliver them to Israel.
Another source familiar with the matter said, "There is a group of hostage bodies that Hamas could hand over immediately. They know the location of this group, but they need equipment and assistance to extract them. As for some of the other bodies, they truly do not know where they are."
FIRST STATEMENT FROM ISRAEL
Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar stated, "Hamas could release a large number of hostages in accordance with the agreement. What they are doing right now is a clear violation of this agreement."
Making a statement earlier in the day regarding the handover of hostages, Netanyahu said the following:
"I know very well how many hostages Hamas is holding. If they do not hand them over to us in a short time, we will act accordingly."
