Addressing the people of Gaza at the same time, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said, "We will take the most painful revenge for this dark day.
We will strike Hamas in a way we have never struck before.
We will strike everyone who has any connection to Hamas. Civilians who are around Hamas, leave those areas immediately."
