Gaza Municipality Spokesperson Hosni Muhanna told an AA reporter that Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike on the municipality's garage located in the Yarmouk area in the city center, and that the attack caused the vehicles and machinery in the garage to burn and become inoperable.

Stating that the Israeli army had previously destroyed 90 out of 130 vehicles belonging to the Gaza Municipality, Muhanna noted that following this attack, Israel has completely disabled the municipality's vehicles and machinery, which will lead to a total paralysis of essential services in the city.

Warning about the repercussions of the attacks and their negative impact on essential services, Muhanna called for urgent international intervention to provide the necessary machinery, equipment, and fuel to fulfill basic humanitarian services.

Emphasizing that cooperation with the municipality must be accelerated for the reconstruction of the service facilities destroyed by the Israeli army, Muhanna stated that the disruption of services due to the depletion of fuel has caused humanitarian conditions in the city to deteriorate further, led to a health and environmental disaster due to the accumulation of large amounts of waste, and resulted in water cuts throughout the city.
