The Civil Defense Directorate in Gaza reported that the Israeli army has killed 123 Palestinians in attacks carried out in the Gaza Strip since the ceasefire was announced.

In a written statement, it was noted that 270 people were injured.

It was reported that 33 of those who lost their lives as a result of the attacks were children and 33 were women.

46,899 PEOPLE KILLED SINCE OCTOBER 7

It was reported that the death toll in the attacks that Israel has been continuing since October 7 has risen to 46,899, and the number of injured has reached 110,725.

In a statement made by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, it was stated that the Israeli army committed "3 massacres" against Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, and 23 people lost their lives in these attacks.

The statement emphasized that 83 Palestinians were injured in the attacks carried out by Israel in the last day.

WHEN WILL THE CEASEFIRE COME INTO EFFECT?

Qatar, one of the mediating countries, announced on January 15 that an agreement had been reached between Israel and Hamas on a ceasefire and prisoner exchange in Gaza.

The agreement will come into effect on Sunday, January 19, at 08:30 local time (09:30 Turkish time). In the first 42 days of the ceasefire agreement, which will consist of 3 phases, 33 Israeli hostages will be released.

The agreement includes the comprehensive delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip as well as the return of displaced Palestinians to their regions.

The details of the second and third phases will be announced upon the completion of the first phase.
