The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called on its diplomats serving in foreign countries to be cautious.

The ministry has placed "all its diplomatic missions worldwide on high alert" due to the attack launched by Hamas from the Gaza Strip against Israel yesterday.

In this context, diplomats have been instructed "not to leave their homes unless they receive special permission from security officials."
