Following Iran's call for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council, Switzerland, the current president of the Security Council, announced that the council will meet tomorrow to discuss Israel's attack on Iran. Switzerland stated that the meeting was requested by Iran with the support of Algeria, China, and Russia.
Israel's Permanent Representative to the UN, Danny Danon, reacted to Iran's complaint to the UN, stating, “Iran is trying to act against us in the diplomatic arena with the absurd claim that Israel is violating international law.”
In the attack carried out by Israel on Iranian military bases last night, 5 people, including 1 civilian and 4 soldiers, lost their lives.
