Israel kills brother of Durra, the symbol of the Second Intifada
Ahmed, the brother of 12-year-old Muhammad al-Durra—who was killed before the eyes of the entire world during the Second Intifada that erupted against Israel in Palestine in 2000—has been killed in Israel's attacks on Gaza.

According to information received from local sources, Israeli warplanes bombed the Durra family's home in the Bureij Refugee Camp, located in the central part of the Gaza Strip.
In the attack, Ahmed al-Durra, the brother of al-Durra, the symbol of the Second Intifada, was killed.

In a statement to local media, al-Durra's mother, Amal, said, "May Allah have mercy on all our martyrs. Israel has slaughtered all our children. May Allah take our revenge on them."
In footage shared on social media, Ahmed's father, Jamal al-Durra, while bidding farewell to his son who was killed in the Israeli attack, said, "Give my regards to your brother Muhammad."

Father al-Durra had stated that Israel bombed his siblings' homes on October 10, killing his two brothers, his brother's wife, their only daughter, as well as dozens of neighbors, most of whom were children.
Emphasizing that Israel intentionally kills children, al-Durra had said, "Children are being killed every day. The scene where Muhammad was killed has been repeating for 23 years. Every child killed is Muhammad al-Durra. Muhammad's blood is still flowing."
