Israel massacres Palestinians trying to receive aid! At least 30 dead, 115 injured

The Israeli army committed a new massacre this morning in the west of Rafah, a city in the southern Gaza Strip, by opening fire on Palestinian civilians attempting to reach a humanitarian aid distribution point.

According to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA, at least 30 Palestinians were killed and 115 others were injured when Israeli occupation forces opened direct fire from armored vehicles as hundreds of civilians were moving to access humanitarian aid in the Al-Mawasi area of Rafah.

Sources pointing to an increase in similar attacks in recent days stated that Israel is deliberately killing civilians by targeting aid distribution points and is doing so systematically.

It was reported that in the last few days alone, 17 more civilians waiting to receive aid were killed and dozens were injured in Israeli attacks.

For over 90 days, Israel has blocked the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza by closing all border crossings. As a result of the refusal to allow the entry of basic necessities, primarily food, millions of people living in Gaza have been left facing mass starvation.

The attacks that Israel has been carrying out with US support since October 7, 2023, have caused unprecedented destruction in the Gaza Strip. So far, more than 54 thousand Palestinians have lost their lives and over 124 thousand people have been injured in the ongoing attacks. Women and children make up the majority of the dead and injured. Additionally, more than 11 thousand people are missing, and hundreds of thousands of civilians have been displaced.

In this process, where even trying to receive humanitarian aid in Gaza results in death, the policies pursued by Israel are considered part of a strategy of systematic starvation and mass extermination.
