Israel strikes southern Beirut

While more than 25 residential areas were targeted in Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon today, Israeli Deputy Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir told Israeli soldiers in the occupied town of Khiam, "All Israel Defense Forces (IDF) capabilities are at your disposal; you have no restrictions on the use of force for this purpose."

Israel continues its intense attacks on Lebanon despite the ceasefire between the parties. According to local sources, more than 25 residential areas, including locations in Nabatieh, Sidon, Tyre, and Bint Jbeil, were targeted by fighter jets and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Israeli strikes today. Sources stated that the Israeli army has issued evacuation warnings for many villages, noting that the number of villages under evacuation orders has exceeded 60 since the ceasefire between the parties went into effect on April 17.

Zamir to Israeli soldiers: "You have no restrictions on the use of force"

While Israel's attacks are considered a clear violation of the ceasefire and a continuation of the conflict, Israeli Deputy Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir visited a position in the town of Khiam, which is occupied by Israel. According to the Israeli press, Zamir said, "We have certain targets in Iran that we are prepared to strike. We are on high alert to return to an intense and comprehensive campaign that will allow us to further weaken the Iranian regime."

Zamir told the Israeli soldiers in the region, "All Israel Defense Forces (IDF) capabilities are at your disposal; you have no restrictions on the use of force for this purpose."
