The statement indicated that targets in Haifa were struck with new solid-fuel missiles called "Kheibar Shekan." The Iranian side claimed that these missiles are capable of guided flight to their targets.
In a statement from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), it was noted that the attack was a retaliation. The statement said, "In response to the targeting of the Tehran Oil Refinery, an attack was carried out on Israel's Haifa Oil Refinery with Kheibar Shekan missiles."
During the Iranian attacks, sirens sounded in the north of the country, Jerusalem, and Tel Aviv.
