The Israeli military announced that more than 40 targets were struck during airstrikes conducted against Tehran throughout the night. Military Spokesperson Effie Defrin stated that more than 70 fighter jets from the Israeli Air Force took part in these operations.
Defrin explained that the strikes targeted Iran's air defense systems, which allowed Israeli aircraft to fly freely over Tehran. Stating that 'Tehran is no longer untouchable,' Defrin added that Israel would conduct further airstrikes against Iran.
Defrin argued that thanks to the strikes on Iranian air defense systems, 'Israeli aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles are flying freely over Tehran.'
