Israel to allow a limited number of Muslims to enter Al-Aqsa Mosque
The Israeli Prime Minister's Office announced that, as in previous years, a limited number of Muslims will be allowed to enter Al-Aqsa Mosque during the first week of Ramadan.

In a meeting held under the chairmanship of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with all security elements, permissions and measures regarding the worship of Muslims at Al-Aqsa Mosque during the month of Ramadan were discussed.
In a statement issued by the Israeli Prime Minister's Office, it was claimed that Israel strongly protects freedom of worship for all faiths in all locations, stating, "Ramadan is sacred to Muslims; its sanctity will be preserved this year just as it is every year."
The statement, which announced that a limited number of Muslims would be allowed to enter Al-Aqsa Mosque during the first week of Ramadan as in previous years, noted that a weekly assessment would be conducted regarding security and safety, and that decisions on whether to continue the entry permits would be made accordingly.
