Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated that attacks on Lebanon will 'intensify'.

Visiting the city of Safed in northern Israel, Gallant delivered a message regarding the attacks on Hezbollah in a video statement he released.

Gallant expressed that they have 'struck Hezbollah heavily' in recent weeks and that they will increase these efforts.

The Defense Minister noted that they are determined to return those displaced in northern Israel to their homes.

The Israeli army, which has been engaged in controlled clashes with Hezbollah since October 8, launched hundreds of airstrikes on southern Lebanese cities as well as the Bekaa and Baalbek regions on September 23.

According to Lebanese authorities, 748 people have died in the intensified airstrikes, while nearly 150 thousand people have been displaced within the country due to the bombardment.
