Israeli army announces another soldier killed in Gaza

The Israeli army has announced that another one of its soldiers was killed in clashes in the southern Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army stated in a release that Sergeant Uriah Goshen (21) from the Givati Brigade was killed in clashes in southern Gaza.

The statement also reported that a soldier serving in the occupied West Bank died in a traffic accident in the central part of the country.

DEATH TOLL RISES TO 529

With this, the number of Israeli soldiers killed since the start of the attacks on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, has risen to 529, with 193 of them killed during the ground invasion process.

The number of wounded Israeli soldiers has also reached 2,602, with 1,152 of them injured in the clashes in Gaza.

CLASHES CONTINUE

In recent days, intense clashes have been taking place between the Israeli army and resistance fighters from the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, particularly in the southeast of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip and in the west of Gaza City.

In the attacks Israel has carried out on the Gaza Strip since October 7, at least 24,448 Palestinians have been killed, including 10,300 children and 7,100 women, and 61,504 people have been injured.
