In a statement issued by the Israeli Ministry of Defense, it was reported that Defense Minister Yisrael Katz and Ministry of Defense Director General Eyal Zamir held a meeting with ministry and army officials.

The statement noted that a decision was made to mobilize all resources for the reception of those returning, and that the Israeli army would provide the necessary medical and psychological support to the returning hostages and their families.
