At least 3 people were killed and 4 others were injured in an artillery attack by the Israeli army on the Ez-Zeytun neighborhood of Gaza City.

According to information received from medical sources, Israeli artillery targeted Palestinians gathered around the Salahaddin Mosque in the Ez-Zeytun neighborhood.

At least 3 people lost their lives in the attack, and 4 people were injured.

The Israeli army had announced its withdrawal from the Ez-Zeytun neighborhood on May 15 after attacks that lasted about a week, and had threatened to return and continue military operations "if necessary."

During the ground attacks in the Ez-Zeytun neighborhood, Israeli army forces killed a large number of Palestinians and caused extensive damage to citizens' homes, property, and infrastructure.

In the attacks carried out by Israel on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 36,284 Palestinians, including at least 15,328 children and 10,171 women, have been killed, and 82,057 people have been injured.

While it is reported that there are still thousands of dead under the rubble, civilian infrastructure is also being destroyed by targeting hospitals and educational institutions where the public has taken shelter.
