Israeli army prepares for large-scale reserve call-up

As military tensions continue on the Israel-Iran front, it has been announced that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are preparing to call up one hundred thousand reserve soldiers. Within the scope of the operation dubbed 'Roaring Lion,' the army announced that operational readiness has been increased. It is reported that at least 50,000 reserve soldiers are currently on active duty.

It was stated that the 'Roaring Lion' operation is being conducted in coordination with the US and that military steps against Iran are continuing. Israeli officials reported that units operating on different fronts of the country have raised their alert levels against potential threats.

NEW ATTACK MESSAGE FROM NETANYAHU

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced in a video message that airstrikes against Iran will intensify in the coming days. Netanyahu stated, "I have given the instruction to continue the operation... Our forces are currently striking the heart of Tehran with intense power, and this will increase even further in the coming days." He also conveyed his condolences to the families of Israelis who lost their lives in Iran's attacks.

Finally, in a missile attack carried out on Sunday, at least nine people lost their lives in the city of Beit Shemesh. This incident was recorded as the attack with the highest number of casualties in Israel since the day the clashes began.

Following the airstrikes, it was emphasized that Israel's multi-layered air defense systems were not entirely effective against such attacks and that early warning sirens did not activate in some cities. Officials stated that they would launch an investigation into why the sirens did not sound before the attack in Beit Shemesh.
