The attacks carried out by the Israeli army on the blockaded Gaza Strip since October 7 continue to intensify on their 40th day.
The Israeli army raided Al-Shifa Hospital, the largest health facility in the region where thousands of patients and displaced civilians are located, this morning.
Gaza Hospitals General Director Muhammad Zaqout stated, "Not a single shot was fired from inside the hospital during the Israeli army's raid on Al-Shifa Hospital. The occupation army believed that its soldiers entering Al-Shifa Hospital would be a victory for them, but they could not find any evidence of the presence of the resistance."
The Palestinian administration stated that the Israeli army's attack on Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza is a clear violation of international law and called for urgent international intervention to protect thousands of people.
Hamas also warned against a "massacre" during the Israeli army's raid on Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, holding Israel, the US, and the international community responsible for the safety of medical personnel, the wounded, and thousands of displaced Palestinians in the hospital.
In addition to Al-Shifa Hospital and its surroundings, all other hospitals in the Gaza Strip have been under constant bombardment by the Israeli army for days.
Palestinian Health Minister Al-Kaila: The occupation forces are fully responsible for the lives of those in the Al-Shifa Complex
Palestinian Health Minister Mai Al-Kaila stated that Israeli forces are responsible for the lives of medical personnel, patients, and displaced civilians at Al-Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip.
According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, Al-Kaila said that "the Israeli occupation forces have committed a new crime against humanity, medical personnel, and patients by besieging and bombing the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza."
Stating that "the occupation forces are fully responsible for the lives of the medical personnel, patients, and displaced persons in the Al-Shifa Complex," Al-Kaila expressed that Israeli forces committed a new crime against humanity by bombing the hospital.
Gaza government: Raiding Al-Shifa Hospital is a war crime
Gaza Media Office General Director Ismail Al-Thawabteh said, "Israel will not be able to prove that Al-Shifa Hospital is a command and control center for the resistance."
Al-Thawabteh said that the raid on Al-Shifa Hospital by Israeli occupation forces is a war crime.
Expressing that Israel is trying to prove that Al-Shifa Hospital is the command and control center of the resistance in Gaza but will fail to do so, Al-Thawabteh predicted that "the occupation forces will bring weapons into the hospital, arrange them in a certain way, and film them."
