Israeli army: We killed Hezbollah commander Nashar

In a written statement, the Israeli army stated that Nashar, the targeted commander of Hezbollah's medium-range missile system, lost his life in an airstrike on Beirut on Saturday.

The statement included the following: "Nashar was a significant expert in the field of missiles, having previously served as the commander of the surface-to-surface missile unit and as deputy commander of the Badr unit."

Hezbollah has not yet issued a statement regarding Israel's claim.

Hezbollah had announced on September 24 that Ibrahim Muhammad Qubaisi, whom the Israeli army claimed to have targeted in an attack on the Dahiyeh district of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, had lost his life.- 1,208 people have died in Israel's intensifying attacks on Lebanon. The Israeli army, which has been engaged in controlled clashes with Hezbollah since October 8, 2023, launched hundreds of airstrikes on September 23 on southern Lebanese cities as well as the Bekaa and Baalbek regions.

According to Lebanese authorities, a total of 1,208 people, including 104 children and 194 women, have died since September 17, when communication devices used by Hezbollah were detonated. Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed in airstrikes carried out by the Israeli army on Beirut on September 27.

Hezbollah is responding to Israel with rockets and missiles. No major damage has been reported in these attacks on the Israeli side, which mostly target military bases. Hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced within the country due to Israeli bombardment. While the wave of migration from the southern parts of the country toward the capital, Beirut, and the north continues, it is reported that tens of thousands of people have migrated to Syria.
