The Israel Defense Forces announced that a military operation targeting a hotel room in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, was successfully completed late last night. The statement emphasized that those who lost their lives were five commanders responsible for operations in Palestine and Lebanon within Iran's Revolutionary Guard-affiliated Quds Force.

Israeli officials stated that the attack was carried out with the participation of the navy, and alleged that the targeted group provided financial and intelligence support to several organizations, primarily Hezbollah and Hamas. The Israeli military noted that the individuals were struck while hiding in a civilian hotel.

According to information shared by Israel, the identities of the five people reported killed in the attack were shared with the public. However, no details regarding the names were provided.

SIMILAR ATTACKS OCCURRED LAST WEEK

It was learned that a similar series of attacks took place last week as well. In those clashes, two key figures serving in the Lebanon units of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard were targeted. It was announced that in one of the attacks, the interim regional commander lost his life in Tehran, while in another, a different high-ranking figure was killed in an attack in Beirut.
