Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari held a press conference at the Ministry of Defense in Tel Aviv. During the meeting, Hagari announced the decision made regarding Gaza.

Hagari stated, "The Chief of General Staff has approved the plan for the continuation of 'operations' on the southern front (Gaza)."

PREPARATIONS ARE UNDERWAY

Noting that they completed another "operation" in the central part of Gaza this week and destroyed infrastructure belonging to Hamas, Hagari conveyed that preparations are being made for the next stages of the war in Gaza.

Hagari expressed that there has been no change in the army's directives, and that if there were, they would provide updates in a transparent and responsible manner.

Hagari's statement came following remarks by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that they would "increase diplomatic and military pressure" on Hamas in the coming days.
