Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz made a statement regarding the heaviest airstrikes on Lebanon since the start of the 40-day conflict between the US-Israel and Iran.
Minister Katz claimed that Hezbollah elements were targeted in the attacks, stating, "Hundreds of Hezbollah members were targeted in surprise attacks on headquarters across Lebanon."
Referring to the attacks on Hezbollah members via pagers in 2024, Katz argued that the latest attacks on Lebanon were the heaviest blow Hezbollah has received since that date.
