Israeli Defense Minister threatens to attack Iran 'at any cost'

Arguing that they are determined to pursue a clear policy under the leadership of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with all relevant parties to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, Katz signaled that they could launch an attack on Iran.

During this period when plans for an attack on Iran are being discussed, Israel's state television KAN reported yesterday that the US had shipped military ammunition to the country via 9 transport aircraft carrying bunker-buster bombs.

Claims that Trump Rejected Israel's Attack Plan

A report in The New York Times stated that Israel had submitted a plan to the White House to carry out a major attack against Iran in May, including striking the Tehran administration's nuclear facilities.

It was stated that US President Donald Trump rejected Israel's attack plan and chose the path of nuclear negotiations with Iran.

The Israeli Prime Minister's Office did not deny the report that "Trump rejected Israel's plan to attack Iran in May" in a statement regarding the matter.

Trump, for his part, said that he had not "postponed" Israel's potential attack plan against Iran's nuclear facilities, but that he was in no rush regarding this matter at this stage.
