Israeli generals approve war plans for Lebanon

As tensions continue between Lebanon and Israel, Major General Ori Gordin, Commander of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Northern Command, and Major General Oded Basiuk, Head of the Operations Directorate, have approved war plans for Lebanon.

In a statement released by the IDF, it was noted that the generals conducted an assessment, during which they "approved operational plans for an offensive in Lebanon," and also made a decision regarding the "acceleration of the readiness of forces on the ground."
