Israeli media: Two senior officials dismissed at Mossad following Iran plan

Israel's Channel 12 television has claimed that a notable personnel change has taken place at Mossad regarding the Iran file. The report alleges that Mossad Director Roman Goffman dismissed the Head of the Intelligence Division and the Chief of the Iran Desk after assessing that the plan to topple the Tehran administration had failed.
According to the report, which cites security sources, the two dismissed officials were among those who played key roles in preparing the plan against Iran. It was argued that the plan in question did not yield results during the attacks that were reportedly initiated by the US-Israel on February 28 and concluded with a ceasefire.
CLAIMS OF NEW ROLES FOR DISMISSED OFFICIALS
Sources speaking to Channel 12 stated that Goffman had experienced disagreements with the two officials in question since he took office. However, the same sources claimed that the departures occurred within the framework of a more comprehensive restructuring within Mossad and by mutual agreement.
The report stated that the two senior officials who were dismissed are not expected to leave the institution entirely and could be assigned to different units within Mossad.
Allegations that Israel has been carrying out covert plans targeting the Tehran administration have previously appeared in the press. Among these allegations, it was claimed that scenarios included the initiation of attacks by certain groups and the promotion of former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
No detailed statement has yet been made to the public by official authorities regarding the alleged personnel change at Mossad.
