In a written statement issued on the Israeli military's official X account, it was noted that following the activation of sirens in the Golan Heights, the Israeli Air Force intercepted 2 attacks targeting the area. It was stated that a suspicious aerial target sent from Lebanon was intercepted in the Upper Galilee region in northern Israel, and another aerial target was destroyed before it could enter Israeli airspace.
On the other hand, in a written statement released by Hezbollah, it was stated that an air surveillance unit in northern Israel and 4 settlements established on land usurped from Palestinians were targeted with missiles.
The Israeli military, which has been engaged in controlled clashes with Hezbollah since October 8, 2023, launched intense airstrikes on September 23 against southern Lebanese cities as well as the Bekaa and Baalbek regions.
The Israeli military also reported on September 30 that it had begun "limited and intensive" ground attacks targeting "Hezbollah's infrastructure" in southern Lebanon.
