Israel Defense Forces Spokesperson Effie Defrin emphasized that attacks against the Revolutionary Guard will continue without pause. In his statement, Defrin noted, "This operation could continue for a long time."
Defrin noted that the attack carried out this morning on a hotel in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, targeted certain objectives from the Revolutionary Guard. Defrin claimed that Israeli forces were "striking Revolutionary Guard members with precision in their hiding places." He also stated that families of Revolutionary Guard members have been asked to leave Lebanon.
Defrin stated, "These attacks will continue in the same way for every single member and personnel of the Revolutionary Guard. There is no place for them to hide in Iran, Lebanon, or anywhere else."
The spokesperson also claimed that the Israeli military had completely destroyed Iran's military headquarters and targeted fuel storage facilities near Tehran. Stating that operations are ongoing on multiple fronts, Defrin noted that the war is continuing in a multidimensional manner.
According to the statement from the Israeli military, more than 100 airstrikes have been carried out against Lebanon in the last 24 hours. These attacks targeted Hezbollah's weapons depots, military points, command centers, and training facilities. It was stated that an individual named Mustafa Ahmad al-Zein, believed to be a member of Hezbollah, lost his life in the operation specifically targeting the Beqaa Valley.
