"Israeli tank fired on Israeli hostages on October 7"

The newspaper's report stated, "Hours after the attacks began on October 7, an (Israeli) tank fired shells at Pasi Cohen's house in Be'eri, where Hamas members were hiding with hostages."

It was reported that this conclusion was reached based on a video taken from a police helicopter called to the area during the attack, which Channel 12 broadcast last night.

Yasmin Porat, who escaped from the festival and hid in a house, said that when she went to one of the soldiers and asked if the shells would harm the hostages, she received the answer, 'we are only doing this to knock down the walls of the houses.'

FIRED FOR WARNING PURPOSES

Hadas Dagan, who was hiding with her husband outside the house where her neighbors were being held captive, also noted that she was wounded by a piece of shrapnel while her neighbors' house was being targeted.

According to Channel 12's report, soldiers in the settlement noted that warning shots were fired from the helicopter and hit a tank, after which another tank arrived and fired on the house.

Furthermore, the helicopter also detected a large number of troops who had gathered at the entrance of the settlement and were not entering the area, despite a long time having passed since the start of the attacks.

The report also included the following words from Yair Avital of the reserve company in the settlement: "500 soldiers were standing outside and no one was dealing with the situation. People were losing blood every minute and the army standing outside could not understand what was happening."

The Israeli army and Israeli police have not yet admitted that Israelis were killed as a result of fire opened by their own forces on October 7.
