The Israeli army carried out a very violent airstrike on a building in the city center of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.
According to the official Lebanese news agency NNA, Israeli warplanes targeted the al-Basta district in downtown Beirut.
THE AFTERMATH OF THE ATTACK IS UNCERTAIN
An 8-story building on al-Mamoun Street, which was targeted by Israeli warplanes with 5 missiles, was leveled to the ground.
An AA correspondent in the region reported that the sounds of the very violent, consecutive explosions were heard throughout all of Beirut.
No information has been shared by officials yet regarding those who died or were injured in the attack.
